She's not about to get into a disagreement about who needs rest more, so she unlatches the lid one of the light-tight, streamlined travel coffins.
"The house is great," she murmurs, almost a sigh. "Jay did a very thorough job."
As she climbs inside and lays down on the insulated padding, she leaves the lid open for a moment. She can feel the blood starting to rise into her eyes and nostrils.
